M.O.A.T.

At our church, we have a program for mothers of preschoolers called MOPS. Do we have such a thing for teenagers? No, so I am starting MOAT - Mother of a teenager. There will be a girl and boy group as those of you know teen boys and girls and completely different creatures.

I am looking forward to this time. There is so much in store for the two of us.

Below are the pictures are a couple pictures of Caitlin on her birthday.
Cait and her friend most of the evening laughing at things on their cell phones.

Watch out world. Here she comes.

MOAT sounds most appropriate considering how isolated I understand parents with teens feel. Parenthood has been a most interesting experience so far & I can only imagine what the teen years have in store for me!

hehe...MOAT. great name for the group. i agree with MJ, but must add that most teenagers feel just as isolated.

Hi Friend or should I say MOAT!
What a delightful photo of Caitlin. She looks so sophisticated and all knowing in that 2nd photo. :D

MOAT also stands for "Mother of all trips" which we are going to have in July. Another item on my bucket list is seeing the Northern Lights and we may be able to achieve that in Norway.....wouldn't that be a bonus!

I am enjoying the playlist you have added for non Americans. Some great bands of the 80's. I especially like Chicago, Midnight Oil, Travelling Wilburys, Gensis, INXS, Tom Petty and U2.

Take care and lots of love
