Calendar Journal Time Again
I finished September's calendar but don't have a picture. Just imagine this page filled with lots of words about driving back and forth to Texas because that's what September was all about. October doesn't seem to bring much different. Here it is waiting to be filled with lots of roadtrips.
I completed painting this one and November and December last month, but you will have to be patient and wait to see those.
Today's Music Note: You are listening to Daughtry sing "September" I heard this for the first time on last weekend's road trip. I wondered why I hadn't heard it before, but then again, I have had my dial stuck on the 80s channel. It seemed like the perfect song to use for my calendar journal post. The following lyrics seemed to fit my life perfectly.
Isn't he cute??

We knew we had to leave this town
But we never knew when and we never knew how
We would end up here the way we are
Yeah, we knew we had to leave this town
But we never knew when and we never knew how
I moved to my hometown 37+ years ago. When I graduated college and moved to New York, I never imagined that I would move back, but I did. When I married and moved around following my husband to his military stations I never imagined that I would moved back again, but I did. Now that I have moved to Missouri for his present job, I have decided to delete NEVER from my vocabulary because once I really thought that Texas was going to be my forever home this time. Hopefully it can be again.
But we never knew when and we never knew how
We would end up here the way we are
Yeah, we knew we had to leave this town
But we never knew when and we never knew how
